A private space to share files on the web
WebShare Space User Agreement
Last Updated: February 12, 2026This User Agreement ("Agreement") is a contract between you and DK Lab, LLC ("DK Lab," "we," "us," or "our"). DK Lab operates WebShare Space (webshare.space), related mobile apps, and services (the "Service"). By checking the agreement box, or by accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Purpose of the Service
The Service allows you to share files and messages ("Content") through encrypted, time-limited links. The Service is not intended for backup, archiving, or long-term storage.
2. Privacy and Access to Your Content
Your Content is encrypted before it leaves your device. If you set an access code, we do not store it and cannot access the Content without it. Without an access code, the Content is still encrypted but we may decrypt it to operate the Service. We cannot help you recover lost access codes, links, or expired or deleted Content. You grant us permission to host, store, and transmit your Content solely to operate the Service.
3. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for your Content, the links and access codes you generate, and who receives or uses them. You must keep links and access codes secure. You are responsible for any use of the Service through your links or access codes.
4. Illegal and Prohibited Content
You may not upload, share, or distribute Content that is illegal or that you do not have the legal right to share (including respecting copyright, privacy, confidentiality, and data-protection obligations). You are responsible for complying with applicable laws and regulations.
5. No Abuse, Security, and Acceptable Use
You may not attack, overload, disrupt, probe, scan, or attempt to compromise the Service or its infrastructure, or use the Service for spam, malware, phishing, viruses, or other harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or deceptive activity. We may suspend, limit, or terminate access, or remove Content, to enforce this Agreement, comply with law, or prevent harm.
6. Expiration, Deletion, and No Recovery
Links expire and Content may be deleted earlier by the system or by us for any reason. After expiration or deletion, Content cannot be restored or recovered. We may retain metadata or logs for security, operational, or legal reasons. You must keep your own copies of any Content you wish to retain.
7. No Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY (INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT) TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that links or Content will remain available.
8. Limitation of Liability
"Free Services" means parts of the Service provided without charge; "Paid Services" means parts provided for a fee.
9. Indemnification
You will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DK Lab and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your Content, your violation of this Agreement, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
10. Changes to This Agreement
We may update this Agreement by posting an updated version and changing the "Last Updated" date (and providing notice where required by law). Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Agreement.
11. Governing Law and Venue
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to jurisdiction and venue there.
12. Severability
If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
